Step 1

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9-inch round cake pan. In a medium bowl, whisk together the almond flour, all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.

Step 2

In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and SIDR honey until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, ensuring each is fully incorporated before adding the next.

Step 3

Gradually add the dry flour mixture to the wet ingredients, alternating with the milk. Begin and end with the flour mixture, mixing until just combined.

Step 4

Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan, smoothing the top with a spatula. Sprinkle sliced almonds on top for an added crunch and visual appeal.

Step 5

Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.

Step 6

Once cooled, you can optionally top of the cake drizzle with additional SIDR honey for extra sweetness. Slice and serve the heavenly almond honey cake, savoring the delightful combination of almond and honey flavors.
