1 cup | 120g | All-purpose Flour |
¼ cup | 30g | Cocoa Powder |
½ cup | 100g | Granulated Sugar |
1 tsp | 5g | Baking Powder |
¼ tsp | 1.25g | Baking Soda |
¼ tsp | 1.25g | Salt |
½ cup | 120ml | Buttermilk |
2 tsp | 110g | SIDR Honey |
1 each | 40g | Egg |
2 tbsp | 30g | Unsalted Butter |
¼ cup | 40g | Pistachio |
5 tbsp | 50g | White Chocolate |
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a donut pan with butter or non-stick spray. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt until well combined.
In another bowl, mix together the buttermilk, SIDR honey, egg, and melted butter until smooth. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
Gently fold in the chopped pistachios and white chocolate until evenly distributed throughout the batter.
Spoon the batter into the prepared donut pan, filling each cavity about 3/4 full. Bake in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the donuts comes out clean.
Remove the donuts from the oven and allow them to cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
While the donuts are cooling, prepare the glaze. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth. Stir in the SIDR honey until well combined.
Dip the tops of each cooled donut into the chocolate honey glaze, allowing any excess to drip off. Sprinkle with chopped pistachios for garnish.
Let the glaze set for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy these indulgent chocolate pistachio honey donuts with a cup of coffee or your favorite hot beverage.
